Winter 2023
PICKLEBALL
LEAGUE

The 1st annual winter pickleball league was a
roaring success! Witnessing strangers come together
and forge strong bonds over their shared passion for
the game was truly inspiring. Moreover, the league was
instrumental in bringing new players into the fold,
allowing them to experience the thrill of pickleball
firsthand. With such a positive response from the
community, we can only hope that this league will
continue to grow and enrich the lives of even more
players!

The Well would like to say congratulations to Aidan
Bahre who is the winner of the pickleball league with a
score of 35 points.

WINTER 2024
PICKLEBALL LEAGUE

Over the past couple of years, pickleball has become the fastest-growing sport among people of all ages. The Well Activity Center is on the leading-edge of pickleball growth, offering four pickleball courts and equipment (paddles and balls) to our local community.

In addition to “drop-in” play, the Well Activity Center is now introducing league play every Monday at 6 pm starting January 8 through February 26!

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, ping-pong and badminton that originated in 1965. This sport can be played indoors or outdoors on a pickleball court where two players (singles) or four (doubles) hit a perforated hollow plastic ball over a 36-inch-high net using solid-faced paddles. A pickleball court is the same size as a double’s badminton court and measures 20×44 feet.

Pickleball is a fun, low-impact game that keeps people healthy and active. It’s a blood pumping, calorie burning, muscle building, people socializing sport – easy to learn and super fun to play.

Stay Tuned for the next league!!
